Welcome to the CLEARS Central Chapter!
I am honored to serve as the Central Chapter President for 2022.
A little bit about me; I just completed my 15th year in law enforcement, and 6 years as a records manager. I work for a small agency so records personnel are exposed to many different records duties and issues all in one day. It is thanks to CLEARS that I was able to make the connections I needed and to find support for all of the different situations I encounter on a daily basis. The friends I have made and the networks I have built are truly priceless to me and I will cherish them always. No other organization or training has ever given me what CLEARS Central Chapter and the CLEARS seminar have. I thank CLEARS for much of my success as a records manager.
The Central Chapter is made up of the Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mono, Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Kern Counties. We are currently hosting by bi-monthly trainings and meetings for 2022 with Zoom and we are making them low cost or free to paid members! So if you are a records supervisor and you have not yet joined CLEARS, I encourage you to do so. The networking and lifetime friendships you will make are priceless in our careers. CLEARS covers everything from a simple police report requests to new laws and how they affect our records departments. Don’t miss out on this great training and networking opportunity!
It is easy to join, simply fill out your CLEARS Central Chapter membership application and forward it to Richard Franco (Sanger Police Dept., 1700 7th Street, Sanger, CA 93657) along with your $50.00 payment. There are so many benefits to becoming a CLEARS member so please call Richard Franco if you have any questions (559-399-8135).
I look forward to meeting you this year!
